2014 NFL Mock Draft 4.0: Round 1

9 of 14

9. Buffalo Bills
Eric Ebron

Adam’s Take: The Bills require both a security blanket for E.J. Manuel and an offensive playmaker — selecting Ebron would go a long way in alleviating both concerns. Ebron is a 6’5 250 pound tight end with wide receiver skills. He possesses the athleticism/speed (4.6 forty-yard dash) to test defenses vertically like few at his position in the NFL. Add that to elite strength at the point of attack, and you’ve got a gem. Every soul pledging allegiance to the Queen City is praying that hometown hero Khalil Mack falls to #9, but at this stage of the process it’s truly a pipedream. C.J. Mosley is an option as well.
