The NFL announced that, for the fourth year in a row, the prospects drafted in the 2nd round of the 2014 NFL draft will be announced by 32 former NFL players — one speaking for each team. In addition, one lucky fan will win the opportunity of a lifetime and help announce the pick for his or her favorite team.
Between the 32 former players, 11 of them are enriched in Canton, OH in the NFL Hall of Fame. There are 20 World Championships between them and nearly 150 pro bowl appearances. Former icon linebacker Harry Carson will perform the honor for the Giants at pick #43.
Here are all the former players with their corresponding team. Hall of Famers are listed in bold and the class of 2014 is indicated by **. The Kansas City Chiefs — marked with a single asterisk — do not have a second round selection, barring a trade into Round 2, so Curley Culp will announce their round 3 pick.
Make sure to tune into the draft 8:00 pm ET on Thursday, May 8! Rounds 2 – 3 will air at 7:00 pm ET on Friday, May 9.
