Russell Wilson (Seattle Seahawks) Round 10 ADP
As amazing a steal as Rivers is, Wilson might take the cake for unfathomable bargain. We’re talking about a guy who has finished as a top-10 fantasy passer in each of his first two seasons in the NFL, just won a Super Bowl and has done all of this without yet throwing more than 407 passes in a season.
Wilson hasn’t needed to either, which is probably a big reason why fantasy owners still don’t trust him. That’s somewhat understandable, but that concern needs to die out. After all, we’re talking about a two-time top-10 finisher still coming in as the 15th quarterback off the board in fantasy drafts. That’s ridiculous.
Add in the fact that Percy Harvin is actually healthy and the ‘Hawks just added even more speed in Paul Richardson, and 2014 could be all about Wilson blowing the roof off of this thing.
Thanks to his weapons, system, efficiency and running ability, even if Wilson stays on his current course he is a legit top-10 threat again. If he improves only slightly, the fantasy results have so much room for growth.
