Three days of training camp practice in the books. In terms of activity scheduling, today’s session had a new look to it. Instead of going football hard for two full hours, Tom Coughlin implemented a “recovery stretch” following an hour and change of practice time. The Giants spent 20 minutes inside the field house in an attempt to “enhance this soft muscle business”, as Coach characterized it. The team will return to a full practice on Friday and gear up for wearing full pads on Sunday (off day on Saturday). What did we learn on day number three’s shortened on-field practice…
The Giants new offense is operating faster than the speed of light (you heard that right)
Jameel McClain‘s day one foot issue will be an afterthought before too long. Nothing keeps this man down
Odell Beckham Jr. missed practice again (hamstring) and Tom Coughlin isn’t pleased
Despite being listed as 5th on the TE (unofficial) depth chart, it didn’t take long for Adrien Robinson to find some reps
“Slot” receiver Jerrel Jernigan running corner fade routes? Apparently so.
Free agent DE Robert Ayers is bringing the heat early in camp
Last but not least, Giants Nation might be well served to remember the name of 6’4 WR Corey Washington. Check out this grab on a long toss from Curtis Painter:
