The Giants trotted onto the practice field for the fourth consecutive day on Friday — this time donning shoulder pads. Hits were plentiful and pads were smacking during drills, but the miscues took center stage: overthrows, dropped passes, poor QB reads and plenty of balls on the ground. Don’t look now, but the Giants square off against Buffalo in eight days at Fawcett Stadium. It’s time to shake off the rust before Tom Coughlin starts spewing venom permanently.
UDFA defensive end, Jordan Stanton, on his way to proving that 11.5 tackles for loss and 8.0 sacks for James Madison weren’t cupcake stats. He’s making noise early in camp and the beats writers are taking full notice.
David Wilson took his first true shot since clearance from neck surgery. Afterwards, Flip was quoted as saying, “thank you, ma’am may I have another?” (not a true story)

While Ryan Nassib does have the arm, he continues to remind Big Blue on a daily basis that his instincts for the position are severely lacking. And that he’s intellectually in over his head. Look on the bright side… CB Charles James continues to show out.
The media insists Andre Williams has a ton of work do, and that may be somewhat accurate, but in Giants ‘short on talent’ backfield alignment he’s not far from playing time.
Temple University’s Brandon McManus is showing distance proficiency and big time accuracy thus far at camp (8/8). Yes, Josh Brown… you should feel threatened.
In an attempt to lighten the mood following a rough day at the office, Dan Fox did what any Notre Dame UDFA would do:
