The New York Giants had an absolutely dreadful performance against the Detroit Lions in Week 1. The fans are already worrying that this year might start similarly to the 0-6 start they had last year.

Before their matchup, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer was ruled inactive for the game. This means that their backup, Drew Stanton, will be making his first start since 2010.

Although this should be great news, with how poorly the defense played last week, one has to wonder if the G-Men will still struggle even with a second-string quarterback under center.

4:15 – To add insult to injury, Manning throws his second pick of the game. He is on pace to throw 32 interceptions this season. The New York Giants lose this one 25-14.

4:06 – Just an absolutely despicable performance in the fourth quarter. Allows a punt return for a TD, gives up a FG, fumbles, then turnover on down. Embarrassing performance, looks to be the trend for the rest of the season if thing don’t turn around.

4:04 – He isn’t lying.

4:02 –

Rueben Randle drops what would have been a huge completion. Then Manning rolls out and throws it far behind Donnell. The Giants are about to lose against quarterback Drew Stanton. Just think about that for a second.

3:54 –

This is not what winning teams do. Rashad Jennings with the costly fumble.

3:49 –

And then that happens, this is looking more and more like a nightmare season already, only two games in.

3:47 – Donnell is making circus catches out here right now.

3:45 – Rashad Jennings keeps those legs churning, grabs a first down. Giants are driving.

3:44 – Donnell is coming up huge on this drive right now.

3:43 – Huge third down conversion for Manning and the Giants.

3:42 – Cruz has two drops, but Eli Manning needs to deliver it better on that third pass. Way too high.

3:36 – Absolutely inexcusable for Demps to fumble on the kick return after the Cardinals touchdown.

3:33 – Ted Ginn Jr. avoids the initial tackle, finds a seam, takes it to the house. Cardinals grab a 19-14 lead.

3:32 – Oh no……..

3:25 – Arizona nails the field goal. New York is up 14-13 with 11:38 remaining in the game.

3:22 – New York has nine penalties for 70 yards so far. Six of those resulting in first downs.

3:15 – End of the third quarter. *throws four fingers in the air*

3:09 –

Eli Manning runs play-action, throws touchdown pass to Daniel Fells

3:05 –

GMen are not pulling a Green Bay Packers against the Seattle Seahawks. Going right after the Cardinals top cornerback Patrick Peterson. Peterson gets called for pass interference. Giants have the ball at the one yard line.

3:01 –

The Giants are doing a great job getting to the quarterback today, fourth sack of the game.

2:55 –

This is about as much emotion you’ll see from Eli Manning.

2:52 –

Manning looked to have Randle open, appears to have under-thrown it. Giants are forced to punt.

2:43 –

The New York Giants have had a strong pass-rush today against the Cardinals O-Line. Halts any chance for a Cardinals drive.

2:40 –

New York Giants start with the ball to open the second half.

2:36 –

Eli Manning made another commercial appearance for Toyota. I swear that’s the 8,000th commercial Manning has been in during this game so far.

2:34 –

In case you’re interested, another Eli Manning Dunkin Donuts commercial just aired.

2:21 –

Here’s a vine of Rueben Randle’s fantastic touchdown reception right before the end of the half.

2:17 –

What a play from Rueben Randle, his one-handed grab puts the GMen on the board. Cardinals are up 10-7 with less than a minute in the half.

2:11 –

Nice seeing Victor Cruz active and involved in this drive with two crucial catches.

2:03 – Sound tackling from Rodgers-Cromartie prevents Fitzgerald from getting the first down.

1:57 –

Hey look, Eli Manning is getting sacked again.

1:53 – The Giants get their asses saved from another Manning turnover by a questionable illegal contact call.

1:51 – I am really not trying to see all of these Eli Manning Dunkin’ Donuts commercials when Manning is throwing interceptions all crazy.

1:50 – And I thought the Giants were having a bad day.

1:45 – 50 yard field goal gives the Arizona Cardinals a 10-0 lead.

1:39 – Another silly penalty extends the drive for the Cardinals.

1:37 – Arizona is driving, the New York Giants give up a first down on a 3rd and 14 running play.

1:34 – Cue the Manning face. Another interception for the Giants QB

"1:24 – As mentioned, the Giants shouldn’t be too excited that Drew Stanton is at quarterback. He is finding holes in their defense like swiss cheese."
