Hosley was drafted in the third round of the 2012 draft with hopes of being a starting cornerback opposite Prince Amukamara. Those hopes were quickly shot down when it was evident Hosley couldn’t cover anyone and was immediately buried in the depth chart. It was surprising to see the Giants bring him back for the 2014 season even after signing Walter Thurmond and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie this past off season. He has been thrust into the starting role this year purely out of necessity due to all the injuries to the Giants’ secondary and has been nothing short of horrendous in coverage. Now in his third year in the league, he has a whopping 1 career interception.
