1. Establish The Ground Game
Running the ball well hasn’t exactly been a strong point for the Giants this season with injuries to the offensive line and workhorse running back Rashad Jennings, it has forced the Giants to become more predictable on offense which has led to many stalled drives and missed opportunities.
Jennings is listed as questionable for Sunday with an ankle injury but did make the trip with the team to Tennessee which means he’ll probably give it a go.
That’s bad news for a Titans’ defense that is dead last at stopping the run this season, allowing an average of 141 yards a game on the ground. If the Giants can get Jennings going, they can control time of possession and impose their will on a mediocre Titans defense.
It would also open up opportunities for Eli Manning and rookie sensation Odell Beckham Jr, which leads me to my next point.
