4. Establish The Run Better In 2015

The Giants average 3.6 yards per carry and only have 3 rushes over 20 yards. This is not getting the job done. The Giants may want to consider bringing in a workhorse whether in the draft or free agency. Rashad Jennings and Andre Williams are not powerful running backs and they will only get what you block for.

The Giants’ offensive line is pedestrian in terms of run blocking. They mostly utilize a zone blocking scheme but their line is not quick enough off the ball or getting to the second level of the defense. The Giants need a powerful runner inside the tackle box who can break tackles and get those all important extra yards. Williams is a nice back but at the moment he is not the work horse the Giants need.
