4. Rise Of Rookies

General manager Jerry Reese doesn’t have the best track record of high quality draft picks but it’s safe to say his selections this year have been spot on. Running back Andre Williams is a prime example of a rookie being able to step in when veterans go down to injury and can bring their own dimension to the game.

The fact that many rookies stepped up like him, Odell Beckham, Devon Kennard and more to say the least proves the future is indeed bright for the new blood brought into the Giants. It’s in the best interest of the team to continue drafting quality athletes that are ready to contribute immediately.

Overall, the Giants are setting up a nice youth movement towards a foundation of stability at key positions. There is no doubt that some of these rookies down the road could end up as future team captains, leaders and key players within the next few years.
