5. Chris Culliver, Cornerback

Chris Culliver worked his way into being a starting cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers in 2014. He missed the entire 2013 season with an ACL injury. Culliver was originally playing the nickel role. He is decent in man to man coverage, especially of slot receivers.

In his three seasons with the 49ers, Culliver had 7 interceptions and an impressive amount of tackles for a cornerback, 127. He is a decent player, more importantly he is likely an upgrade to the Giants current cornerbacks.

Culliver would be a good addition to the Giants since he is entering some of the prime years of his career and would bring a solid presence to the defensive backfield. He would bring some nice aggression by being a tackling machine for anyone coming his way with the football.
