1. Buster Skrine, cornerback
Buster Skrine is a tough cornerback who has played second fiddle to superstar cornerback, Joe Hayden with the Cleveland Browns Skrine had a career high 4 interceptions this season. Skrine is very good in man to man coverage and is a physical cornerback. He is very much a rarity in the NFL who does not get enough credit.
The Browns will not want to see their unrestricted free agent cornerback go. The Giants will not get this under the radar free agent as cheaply as the others. I only consider him under the radar in the sense that he is not a household name. NFL executives know that he is a good number 2 cornerback.
The Giants desperately need to upgrade their secondary. Signing Skrine will be less costly than going after a Brandon Flowers or a Darrelle Revis even if he is in high demand.
