9. Brandon Jacobs, Running Back

Brandon Jacobs was the original beast mode rusher, if you ask me. Jacobs was the Giants premiere running back when Tiki Barber retired after the 2006 season. Jacobs had back to back seasons over 1,000 yards in 2007 and 2008. He had two stints as a Giants running back, the good times where he wore number 27 and the forgettable time sin 2013 when he wore number 34.

Jacobs scored 60 touchdowns and had 5,087 rushing yards in a Giants uniform. In his prime he drew comparisons to Pittsburgh Steelers legend Jerome Bettis. That is because Jacobs was a rare combination of size and quickness. He would demolish linebackers every time in his prime, if he went down he would drag the defender a couple of yards before doing so.

Injuries and arguably a poor attitude plagued Jacobs’s career. After Jacobs missed the 2009 season with a knee injury, he was never again the Brandon Jacobs fans will always have great memories of.
