6. Kerry Collins, Quarterback (No photo available in our data base so here is his coach.)

Sadly, we do not have a photograph of  Collins, due to the fact that he is a player from the early 2000’s and we can’t just pull a picture off of Google due to copyright laws. The silver lining is that we get to honor Collins’s coach, Jim Fassel who led the Giants from 1997-2003. Collins came to the Giants in 1999, originally as a back up quarterback.

When Collins took over the quarterback position, the Giants offense took off. In the 2000 season he led the Giants to the Super Bowl. That game did not go so well, but it is not his fault that he ran into arguably the greatest defense of all time, the 2000 Baltimore Ravens. It does not diminish the fact however, that he led one of the league’s best offenses.

In 4.5 seasons as the Giants starter, Collins threw for 16,875 yards and 81 touchdowns. He was the leader of some very memorable Giants teams and therefore deserves to be number 6 on this prestigious list.
