4. Sign Devin McCourty
The Patriots would hate to lose McCourty, who is one of the better safeties in the NFL. McCourty is a big play preventing free safety. He would provide veteran leadership in the secondary, where communication and accountability are key.
The Giants cornerbacks are pretty solid, presuming they can stay healthy. The Giants are looking for a breakthrough season from Prince Amukamara. If the Giants can bring in McCourty the secondary would be pretty much set.
The Giants are a team that needs a bit of everything. They can never have enough veteran leadership. Fixing the secondary a bit through this signing will open up options throughout the 2015 NFL Draft.
