When the Giants brought back Steve Spagnuolo to be the defensive coordinator it boded well for Pierre-Paul’s chances to stay in New York. Spagnuolo values pass rushers, and he also gets the most out of them.
Expect the Giants to make a strong move to keep their first round draft pick of 2010. Pierre-Paul still has unfathomable talent and potential. The Giants know his best football is ahead of him.
Signing Pierre-Paul is the first step to helping the defense. With him, the Giants have their primary pass rusher. With Spagnuolo, they have the man who will get the most out of Pierre-Paul.
