5th Round: Cody Riggs | CB | Notre Dame
Riggs is a player that will compete to play as the nickel cornerback and who will make a huge impact on special teams. He has a high motor, and is really aggressive in coverage. He has had injury problems in the past. Overall he is a decent talent.
With coaching, he could be a diamond in the rough. Riggs, played safety at Florida before transferring to Notre Dame and playing cornerback. There is nothing dominant about Riggs, but he is a quality player.
At the very least this could provide depth for the Giants secondary. In the 5th round finding a role player is good enough, even if he is a coaching project.
Next: 6th round: Deon Long | WR | Maryland
