4. OT Andrus Peat, Stanford

Andrus Peat is the incredibly athletic offensive tackle from Stanford. He has an impressive 6′ 7″ frame with long reaching arms and quick feet. The biggest concern for Peat is does he have enough power and strength.

Peat is a lean 312 pounds, which is why he is so quick. In the 2015 NFL Combine he will have to show that he has adequate strength. Peat is my top ranked tackle prospect because he is so hard to beat on the outside. People are reluctant to buy into his stock because he is a bit unpolished and they aren’t sold on his strength against the bull rush.

I tend to think of Peat as a safe draft pick. When you look at his tall and thin stature it is easy to see where the concerns come from. I just don’t think that his dimensions translate to problems at the left tackle position.
