2. OT Andrus Peat, Stanford

Peat has just about everything an offensive tackle could have on the offensive tackle checklist. Peat is tall with long arms. Peat has quick feet and great athletic ability. What Peat needs to show is that he has the power and the strength to handle the big boys of the NFL.

Peat is a long and lean 312 pounds. He needs to do well at the bench press to put an ease to the worries about his handling of an NFL bull rusher. He needs to show that he is a physically imposing tackle who will make pass rushers loathe going against him.

The combine is where a prospect like Peat can thrive. He is the quickest and most nimble moving tackle in the draft class. Like Taylor Lewan did last year, Peat can put on a show that could boost his draft stock dramatically. If Peat thrives on every level at the combine, he really could be a top 10 draft pick.
