7. Randy Gregory DE, Nebraska
Some would rank Randy Gregory higher than seventh, citing his unbelievable athletic ability and potential. Gregory would be higher on my list if the talent he had was more developed. He is on the list because he has such a rare skill-set that he makes scouts salivate.
Fast, long and relentless. That is what gets the scouts so excited. That is why he is going to be an early draft pick and why he should be a productive pro football player.
The talent is raw though. He is not great in run defense, often failing to keep outside contain. He does not fire off the snap of the football and his overall technique is not phenomenal. He is just so very talented, he is a special athlete.
