4. Pay Cuts

There are many players on the Giants roster that may get asked to take pay cuts. Jon Beason recently stated that he was willing to take a pay cut to avoid getting released. He was a valuable addition to the Giants defense at first, but his injury history proves to be too much for his price tag.

Steve Weatherford is a valuable addition to the Giants special teams, but his services are coming at an expensive price. Weatherford’s cap hit for 2015 is around $3 million. He was asked to take a pay cut last year so it wouldn’t be surprising if he was asked to do so again.

It is also possible that maybe even Victor Cruz will be asked to take a pay cut on his monster contract as well, due to worries about his injury.
