Oct 30, 2014; Louisville, KY, USA; Florida State Seminoles guard Josue Matias (70) against the Louisville Cardinals at Papa John

47. Miami Dolphins: Josue Matias, OG (FSU)

The Dolphins have made the offensive line their priority, Matias may be their 300 lbs. puzzle piece. If you haven’t noticed acting as general manager for all 32 teams in this mock draft, I am sticking to the GMENHQ big board. Matias is ranked 48th overall on that list.

Matias moves well and has quick feet. The Dolphins did not pass the ball deep last season despite having the talent to do that. With the addition of Matias’s interior pass protection, the Dolphins offense may become less conservative.

The Dolphins have other needs, but their recent draft history has shown they prioritize the offensive line. This is a safe draft pick. The Dolphins improved their defensive line in Round 1, with Eddie Goldman and their offensive line with Matias in the Round 2.
