39. Chicago Bears: Brett Hundley, QB (UCLA)

Frustrated with Jay Cutler, the Bears draft Brett Hundley to be their quarterback in waiting. If Cutler gets injured (as he is prone to do), Hundley could get some on the job training in his rookie season. If the Bears season slips away from them again, they’ll have no issue ending the Cutler era and letting the Hundley era begin.

In a best case scenario, the Bears ask Hundley to develop as a backup for 1-2 seasons. He is a raw, not ready for the NFL quarterback but he has incredible talent. Hundley could become a Steve McNair like quarterback, that’s his ceiling.

The Bears need to at least put pressure on the mind boggling waste of talent that has been Jay Cutler. There is no other way to put it. If Cutler does not put up, Hundley will be asked to shut him up in Chicago.
