4. Indianapolis Colts Sign DeMarco Murray

The Colts need a running back and the best back on the open market is DeMarco Murray. The Cowboys won’t want to lose Murray though they knew it would be tough to keep both him and Dez Bryant. Bryant got the franchise tag from the Cowboys, meaning they still need to work out a mega-sized contract. They don’t have the money to lock Murray up as a Cowboy forever.

The Colts are desperate to get the missing piece to the puzzle. The Colts have made noise in the playoffs the last two years but have been eliminated by the Patriots. Murray and Andrew Luck in the same backfield probably wouldn’t be fair for the rest of the league. Imagine how fun J.J. Watt vs. Luck and Murray would be twice per season.

The Colts parted ways with Reggie Wayne, one of their most beloved players. Wayne was too costly to a team that has to make a run at a running back that might put them over the hump.
