3. Giants Miss Out On Suh But Still Improve Defense

If we are being realistic the Giants are not going to land Ndamukong Suh. The Giants would have to create too much cap space and have more than one need to fill. The Giants will add two more cost-effective players to their defense in free agency.

First the Giants will sign Pernell McPhee, who is a versatile defensive lineman who can rush the passer. McPhee could pretty much play any position in the front 7 other than inside linebacker. McPhee would be the perfect fit for the Giants. Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo saw just how effective McPhee is when he was an assistant coach for the Ravens.

The Giants will also sign safety Rahim Moore. Moore is kind of the Bill Buckner of football, a good player who is remembered for letting Jacoby Jones behind him in the playoffs in 2012. People forget how solid of a football player he is. The Giants need help on the back end, so this is a solid move. The Giants will get two players for less than they would spend on one (Suh).
