The Green Bay Packers drafted Raji with the 9th overall selection in 2009. He fell off the radar of the casual fan because he was sidelined due to injury in 2014. If healthy, Raji can be a powerful nose guard who can do the dirty work in the trenches.
Raji was once a feared pass rusher as a defensive tackle. In 2010 he had 6.5 sacks and in 2011 he had 3. His statistical impact dwindled in 2012 and 2013, but we have to remember that he is not a defensive end, he is a tough and gritty interior defensive tackle.
Raji is looking to resurrect his career. Raji may be intrigued about playing for a 4-3 defense. In the Packers defense he was more of a space eater, with the Giants he could be more of a penetrating attacker at the defensive tackle position.
