Wilfork is a big man. The 11 year veteran weighs in at 325 pounds, he is the proverbial immovable object. He has been one of the key players for the New England Patriots, who drafted him in 2014. Wilfork is now on the free agent market.
One must wonder how much football Wilfork has left in him. He has played in all 16 games of a season 8 times, at a position that puts much wear and tear on you. Wilfork has been a great player for a long time. If he was as young as Suh, the Dolphins might have offered him the same kind of money.
Wilfork is looking for a place to end his career. He may be best off retiring however. He just won the Super Bowl with the Patriots; how many players get to leave this game on their own terms after winning it all? The Giants would be glad to sign the aging veteran to a reasonable contract but will probably have to outbid other teams that will risk big money on the big man.
