2. Henry Melton, DT

Melton probably wouldn’t have hit the open market if the Dallas Cowboys didn’t have cap problems and bigger priorities. Here is the Giants chance to nab a player from their division foe.

Melton has 20.5 sacks in 5 years. This more impressive when you consider that he missed all but 14 games in 2013 due to an injury. The former Chicago Bear was signed last offseason by the Cowboys. Now he is one of the most underrated players available.

Melton can be a dominant player in the 3 technique (outside shoulder of the guard). If he could return to his peak form, he would create double teams, making the path to the quarterback easier for the defensive end on his side.
