2. Help In The Secondary

The Giants have needs at both safety positions. The Giants are likely to part ways with strong safety, Antrel Rolle. It is not unthinkable that the Giants could resign the veteran strong safety, but the Giants appear to be looking elsewhere. Marcus Gilchrist could be the best option at free safety.

The Giants could also use an upgrade at free safety. Rahim Moore is a viable option at the free safety position, though he is highly coveted by several other teams. The NFL Draft is also a possibility. With the 9th pick the Giants could draft Landon Collins, a strong safety with some free safety cover skills from Alabama.

Derron Smith, Cody Prewitt and Gerod Holliman would be options as well at the free safety position in the NFL draft. The Giants have to improve the back end of their defense because they gave up way to many big plays down the field in 2014.
