1. An Unstoppable Defensive Tackle

The Giants didn’t get Ndamukong Suh, but it is not hard to see why they wanted him. The Giants need an interior lineman who can penetrate and make plays in the backfield. They need a run stuffing space eater who can demand double teams up front.

The Giants want to own the line of scrimmage defensively. Drafting either Danny Shelton, Eddie Goldman, Arik Armstead or Carl Davis would allow them to do this. Any of these options in the NFL Draft, would allow the Giants to do so.

There are also free agents available who would fill this need as well. Among the possibilities are names like Vince Wilfork, Nick Fairley and Henry Melton.
