14. Malcolm Brown, DT (Texas)

Malcolm Brown is a really intriguing defensive tackle. Brown is a very versatile interior tackle. He ran a 5.05 second 40 yard dash at the combine, and he has the quickness and length to get inside of guards and centers.

Brown is a 6-2 319 pound defensive tackle who could be dominant in either the 3-4 or 43 defensive formation. Brown can demand double teams because of his ability to penetrate in the backfield and cause havoc.

While Brown is not the dominant space eater that Shelton is, he is a great athlete. Brown could go anywhere from the middle of the 1st round to the beginning of round 2.

There will always be interest for a defensive tackle who can make plays in the backfield in the NFL. The defensive tackle is one of the less glorious positions, but Brown is great at what he does and it is invaluable on the line of scrimmage.
