15. Ereck Flowers, OT (Miami)

Ereck Flowers dropped jaws at the combine, having the most bench reps (37) and running a 5.31 second yard 40 yard dash. To be honest, it made me really go back and look at him as a prospect, which is what the combine is really all about.

Flowers impressive performance at the combine, along with his high performance on the football field made me put him in front of La’el Collins and Brandon Scherff. Of all the offensive tackles, Flowers handles big strong defensive linemen better than any of them.

He is the most consistent tackle in this draft class, and Peat is the only tackle I see more upside with. Flowers is a beast with his superior strength and good footwork. I can see Flowers being a quality starter for a long time.

Flowers should be considered by the Giants with the 9th overall selection. Though I value Flowers more as a mid round prospect. If the Giants were inclined to trade back a few spots, this may be one of their targets.
