18. La’el Collins, OT (LSU)

Collins is a very strong and sturdy left tackle prospect from LSU. Some people see Collins as a guard, but I think he has the ability to be a very dominant offensive tackle. Collins is a really good run blocker, who bullies people around in the trenches.

Like a shark dominates the sea with his sharp teeth and strong bite, Collins rules the over the line of scrimmage with his powerful jabs and his massive size. He weighs in at 321 pounds and towers over you with his tall 6-5 frame.

Collins is a tackle in my estimation but his versatility is not something that hurts his draft stock. Teams who see him as a guard love the idea that he can play tackle if the offensive line must be shuffled due to injury.

Collins is a good football player who should be taken in the first round. He may be the most physical offensive linemen in the draft class, he uses his brute strength more than his quickness to win the battle up front against relentless pass rushers.
