21. Alvin Dupree, OLB/DE (Kentucky)

The statistics of the 6-4 264 pound Alvin “Bud” Dupree are rather impressive. In each of his last 3 seasons at Kentucky, this Wildcat he had over 6 sacks (he had 2.5 sacks his freshman year). He made plays in the backfield constantly, having 37 tackles for a loss and 23.5 sacks in his college career.

Dupree is an explosive athlete with incredible lower body strength. At the NFL Combine he showed this with his 4.56 second 40 yard dash and his 42 inch vertical jump. Dupree is a top tier athlete, without question.

Dupree needs to work on being a well-rounded player. He is all about the pass rush, he pins his ears back on every play. The problem is he is an undisciplined defender against the run. He has great talent, but he has some developing to do at the next level.

Raw or not, you can’t find talent like Dupree has outside of this top 25 portion of the GMENHQ Big Board. Dupree could be a dominating player.
