Nine Picks, Not A Lot To Show For It

Reese continues to show with this draft class that he is not afraid to take players from schools with smaller football programs. The Giants last three draft picks didn’t even make the team. Clint Sintim was a bust as a 2nd round draft pick. His career accomplishments just 33 tackles and a sack. Sintim suffered ACL injuries which basically ended his days in the NFL. Though in his first two seasons he was healthy and made little impact.

Nicks & Beatty Prove To Be Tremendous Picks

The good in this draft, was getting Nicks and Beatty. Beatty is still with the Giants and figures to be the starting left tackle in 2015. Nicks had moments of superstar status with the Giants. In his five years with the Giants, Nicks had 311 receptions and scored 27 touchdowns.

Draft Grade: D+

Getting only two good players with nine picks is not a very high success rate.
