2. Marcus Peters, Washington

Washington cornerback, Marcus Peters, has the prototypical size and play you would want from a viable starting cornerback in the NFL. He plays press well and does an outstanding job of playing the football and causing turnovers.

The downside is his personality. Peters was suspended last season after he threw a fit following a personal foul penalty, and has a reputation for not being very coachable.

He’s a first round talent with clear baggage. Last season the Giants went with the approach of “clean” draft picks, all of which were captains in college, and none seemed to be big hit or miss prospects.

With many teams needing a cornerback, Peters seems almost a lock to be a 1st-round pick, but with much concern.

Next: 1. Trae Waynes, MSU
