The Giants are the hardest team to place into the NFL power rankings. They are always difficult to judge. Last season, the Giants were decimated by injuries and on top of it all had to learn a new offensive system.

Their new offense showed flashes of brilliance and they ended up being one of the top teams in total points per game. Fixing the offensive line should be a must this offseason.

Defense remains the biggest issue for them. They are in a desperate need for a safety and a pass rush. Franchise tagging Jason Pierre-Paul was a smart move to help maintain some sort of pressure. Pierre-Paul can’t do it all by himself, the Giants needs someone to play opposite him that will bring pressure as well.

However, you never know what Tom Coughlin and Eli Manning will muster up. Don’t count them out just because of this low power ranking. They are the dark horse of 2015 with the dangerous duo of Odell Beckham and Victor Cruz on the horizon. The Giants future is unknown right now, everything could dramatically change with the right couple of draft picks.
