The Texans are a team to be reckoned with in 2015. They finally have some stability at the quarterback position, by singing Brian Hoyer and resigning Ryan Mallet. Mallet could turn out to be better than most think and if not, Hoyer will be there to step in.

Their defense is just as good as ever. They now have a defense filled with names like J.J. Watt, Vince Wilfork, Brian Cushing, Jadeveon Clowney, and Kareem Jackson. That sounds like one hell of a defense.

Getting Clowney back to health should be the Texans goal this offseason to see what he’s capable of. He didn’t play enough games to be evaluated properly.

Until they get the wide receiver position solidified, they will hover right outside of the top 15. Hoyer or Mallet won’t preform well with no variety of weapons. Signing Cecil Shorts was a great move in the right direction, but let’s see how healthy he can stay first.
