16. San Diego Chargers

The Chargers are another team that can’t seem to get it right. They always hover around an 8-8 record. This year they managed to squeeze out 9-7 but missed the playoffs. The AFC is getting really competitive and the Chargers are playing a game of catch up.

Philip Rivers is just as sharp as ever and he has viable options to throw the ball to. Stevie Johnson just signed with the team and he makes a fine replacement for Eddy Royal. Pair him up with Kennan Allen and Malcom Floyd and that’s a nice trio of wide receivers.

Mike McCoy kept the offense on fire in 2014, but the defense is killing the Chargers playoff hopes. Drafting some defensive playmakers would definitely help them improve in 2015.

Until then, the Chargers offense is making up for the slacking on defense. Hopefully, Rivers can keep up his MVP worthy seasons.
