6. New England Patriots

The Patriots have had their glory days and it’s all about to come to an end. The Patriots don’t have it so easy anymore in the AFC East, everyone is in an arms race to catch up to the champs. The Pats have to play each of these teams twice a year, which isn’t a cake walk anymore.

The Patriots lost some key pieces this year on both sides of the ball. Revis, Brandon Browner, Wilfork, and Shane Vereen all singed with a new teams. Each one of those players played a key role in the Patriots Super Bowl run.

The Patriots loaded up for the year of a lifetime and they got what they wanted. Now it’s time to pay the price. Money can’t buy long time consistency. The reigning champs are due for a fall.

The Patriots won’t be a bad team in 2015, but nowhere near as dominant as they were last year. Therefore, they fall out of the top five.
