The Colts are coming into this season with something to prove. Getting blown out by the Patriots in the AFC championship game after “DeflateGate” is definitely still burning a hole in their stomachs.

Adding Frank Gore and Andre Johnson to the roster made the team so much better than it already is. Gore provides the power running game that wasn’t there for the second half of the season and Johnson provides another playmaker at wide receiver.

While many criticize the Colts win-now attitude, it’s hard to blame them. When you have a guy like Andrew Luck on the field, you kind of want to win as much as you can. From a statistical standpoint the Colts free agency deserves a A+ because they addressed their most important needs.

The Colts receivers and tight ends were plagued by drops. Any football fan knows that Andre Johnson hardly ever drops a football. Manning handed over the torch to Luck and now it’s Brady’s turn. The Colts are the new dominant force in the AFC and they’re here to stay.
