25. Oakland Raiders

The Raiders most likely found their franchise quarterback in David Carr. Carr proved to be a great leader and had one of best seasons among the 2014 class of rookie quarterbacks. They would definitely benefit from drafting a number one wide receiver to play along James Jones and Andre Holmes. Holmes came out of nowhere this year and showed some real potential.

Tight end Mychal Rivera is a candidate to be a break out player. He proved to be Carr’s favorite option in the red zone. A great tight end benefits any quarterback in this day and age.

However, defense remains a huge problem for the Raiders. They have a whole bunch of cap room, but have no one to spend it on. Most of the high-profile free agents are gone and the Raiders failed to sign not one of them. Failing in the free agency is going to hurt them big time this year.

Reggie McKenzie filled the Raiders defense with veteran players over the past couple of years. Expensive veterans aren’t the answer to problems as most teams have proved in the past.
