Jacksonville Jaguars Report Card: B+

As we’re still lingering in the AFC South, let’s go to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags haven’t been relevant since they came into the league, they never seem to get it right, but this year is different. The Jaguars managed to have a solid week in free agency with the signature of Thomas. That’s also a good sign for sophomore quarterback Blake Bortles as he has a passing target.

Another impressive signing for the Jaguars was defensive tackle Jared Odrick whose ranked in the top 15. Thomas and Odrick are solid for both the offensive and defensive units meaning the Jaguars are looking to improve every way they can.

They’ve also brought in free safety Sergio Brown, outside linebacker Dan Skuta and Parnell. They did say goodbye to cornerback Will Blackmonlinebacker J.T. Thomas and Shorts.

You have to give it to the Jaguars for their actions in the first wave of free agency as they’ve signed some headliners to the squad. The question for the Jaguars every season is can they perform? If they continue their moves on the free agent market; they have a legitimate shot.
