Minnesota Vikings Report Card: C
As we wrap up the NFC North, we move to the Minnesota Vikings. There hasn’t been much movement from the Vikings since free agency started and only have made one acquisition. Quarterback Shaun Hill is the Vikings only signing and it’s not really anything interesting.
The Vikings have other worries with running back Adrian Peterson who won’t be returning for obvious reasons. The Vikings needed a stable quarterback during their rebuilding period.
They said goodbye to quarterback Christian Ponder, guard Vladimir Ducasse, fullback Jerome Felton. They should make wide receiver Greg Jennings a top priority at this point as he could be a leader in that offensive unit despite his injuries.
The scandal with Peterson has put a halt in the Rams’ plans for free agency. It’s likely they want to take care of that first before looking at other free agents.
