Philadelphia Eagles Report Card: B
We move down the NFC East to the Philadelphia Eagles. Right under Suh, signing Murray was the biggest signing during the week. The Eagles locked up the rushing champion from Dallas along with Chargers’ Ryan Mathews. This could be the deadliest backfield in the NFL and head coach Chip Kelly has some tricks up his sleeves.
They also re-signed quarterback Mark Sanchez and traded for Sam Bradford, which leaves that situation secured. They’ve also brought on corner back Byron Maxwell now that Allen is out of the picture. The Giants’ Thurmond will also be moving to Philadelphia.
The Eagles parted ways with Maclin, Cole, McCoy, center Todd Herremans and cornerback Cary Williams. Kelly’s moves have been questioned around the league, but from the looks of it, he has a clear idea what he wants to do.
