Buffalo Bills Report Card: C+

Next are the new Buffalo Bills with head coach Rex RyanBy trading for Lesean Mccoythe Bills could be contenders in the AFC Eastbut they might have to be a little more active in the free agent market. Their biggest signing so far is wide receiver and ex-Jet Percy Harvinwho seemed to like Ryan and followed him Upstate.

This is a solid signing for the Bills for one reason only, Sammy WatkinsThe Bills have powered up that receiving core with Harvin and Watkins that could be a dynamic duo. Other than Harvin, the Bills have stayed low key in the market bringing in full back Jerome Fulton and quarterback Tyrod Taylor

Those two additional signings could only be security for the Bills and not likely to be starting for them. Obviously with the acquisition of McCoy, running back C.J Spiller is gone. They’ve also let go of strong safety Da’Norris Searcy, tide ends Scott Chandler, Lee Smith and guard Erik Pears.

The Bills free agency so far has been mediocre, but decent. They will need be a little more effective in the market as we all know the New York Jets mean business in being competitive again.
