1. Will A Running Back Be Selected In The 1st Round?

While most experts declare that a running back will once again be taken in the first round, recent draft history says that this is an interesting question. A running back has not gone in the first round since 2012.

Melvin Gordon and Todd Gurley are game changing talents however. I have both players with a first round grade. Most analysts agree that both players are too good to be passed on by 32 teams.

The running back position has been devalued though. It really has been and it is because running backs tend to have shorter careers and are usually replaceable. The media is surely ready to see a 1st round rusher but are the NFL teams?

This will be an interesting thing to monitor on the first day of the draft. It is hard to wait until the last week of April for the draft because we want the answers to all of these pressing questions.
