5. Andre Williams Will Be The Featured Back

The Giants running game was nothing short of a disaster for the past couple of years. Rashad Jennings is more than capable of being a starter, but he proven that he can’t be the Giants featured bell cow back. He is too injury prone to receive that much exposure.

Williams showed some real improvement towards the end of the season when he stepped in as the Giants starter. It’s always difficult to make an impact immediately in your rookie year, especially with an offensive line as bad as the Giants’. Despite these shortcomings, Williams still showed some promise.

Williams will play his way into being the featured back. Jennings will start out the season as the bell cow back once again, but will not be able to hold up with the injuries that come along.

The two will most likely switch roles. Williams will be the featured back and Jennings will back him up. Williams will be the leading rusher on the team and lead the Giants backfield to consistency.
