3. Eli Manning Will Get A Massive Contract Extension Mid-Season
There hasn’t been a word of any contract extension for Manning and that primarily has to do with that it’s not a priority at the moment. The Giants have plenty of time to extend Manning’s contract.
However, in the middle of the 2015 regular season, Manning will get a massive contract extension. It will ensure that he retires a Giant.
The contract extension will be somewhere in the ballpark of four years, $90 million. He should be guaranteed about $55 million of it. It will be very similar to Ben Roethlisberger’s contract.
The Giants aren’t known for making huge decisions like this, but it will happen. Manning will light up defenses like never before. He will put up the best stats of his career. After all, he will be playing for his contract by the way it seems. It isn’t easy to find a franchise quarterback and the Giants won’t take a chance with this situation.
