3. Most Undervalued Player
While Eli Manning really can’t be considered a “sleeper” labeling him “undervalued” seems pretty appropriate. Manning is often found on the wavier wire after countless fantasy drafts. This usually has to do with his wild tendency to be inconsistent, but that is about to change in 2015.
Last season, Manning ranked amongst the top 10 fantasy quarterbacks and it looks as if he’s going to be even better this year. With a much more healthy team and a more versatile set of weapons, Manning will end up being a top five fantasy quarterback.
His offensive line is going to be back at full health, giving him more time to make decisions. Victor Cruz is going to return and be paired up with Odell Beckham. Now Manning has two deadly weapons to deliver the ball to. Not to mention that he has a tandem on three powerful running backs to take the pressure off him on occasion.
All of this adds up to Manning having a legendary year. By the way it looks, the Giants want him to play out his contract. While most would consider this bad, Manning doesn’t seem too worried about it. Why is that? Because he’s smart enough to know that he is going to put up such amazing numbers the Giants will have no choice but to pay him.
